CASING MANUFACTURING & DE-COILING
RSC produces electrode casings which are used in Chrome and Platinum submerged arc furnaces.

Casings at RSC are manufactured to great accuracy with the implementation of state-of-the-art CNC machinery and laser cutting technology. Quality based on ISO 9001 principles.
TURNKEY PROJECTS
Our vast experience in the chrome beneficiation and the ferrochrome industry allows us to specialise in turnkey projects such as Chrome Ore Wash plants, HMS plants, Crushing, Screening plants, Final Product plants, Submerged Arc Furnaces and Furnace Components.
The design, drafting, earth and civil work, structural fabrication and erection, mechanical and electrical work and commissioning are handled in-house by RSC.
STRUCTURAL FABRICATION AND ERECTION
RSC specialises in the design, fabrication and erection of a wide range of structural buildings, workshops, plant and mining structural items.
The workshop lay-out, fabrication tools and own mobile cranes enable us to process in excess of 250 tons of structural steel per month
ENGINEERING & MACHINING
RSC provides machining services to all the surrounding mines, smelters and processing plants which include various turning and milling tasks.
A range of stainless steel and cast-iron casting items are also supplied for the
use in the pelletising and sinter plants.
PLATEWORK
The developing and fabrication of plate work is made by our skilled labour force and heavy-duty machinery.
Our experience includes open and closed water-cooled furnace roofs, water and air cooled furnace
ducting’s, bag plant ducting’s and cyclones.
We can cut, drill, bend and form mild steel, Bennox steel, VRN / Hardox 450 plate and all grades of stainless steel. Repairs to worn components and fabrication of new items such as fan impellors, dampers, auger screws and conveyor pulleys are also carried out.
